Connect the dots with our Dots of Gold mini-collection
Our latest mini-story is a minimalist vision in gold. Each piece in the new Dots of Gold collection features hand-textured dots that combine classic sophistication with wear-me-everyday style.
The collection includes light-catching earrings (both studs and drop styles), barely-there bracelets and a range of shimmering pendants that look exquisite worn alone or layered with other gold necklaces.
The dots play out across the collection in different ways, from tiny scattered sequins to petite pendants. And because all that glitters isn’t only gold… the pendants are flecked with tiny star-set diamonds to further catch the light.
Laura had several sources of inspiration for the creation of this mini-story. The enduring allure of bohemian style was one of them. Both the earthiness of 60s fashion and the decade’s iconic flower-power activism are just as relevant today as they were all those years ago.
In addition to the hippy-era’s “cool girl” style, other inspirations for the collection came from the art world. These included the gilded baroque swirls of Gustav Klimt’s paintings – which inspired the colour, shape and texture of the collection – as well as Yayoi Kusama’s dot paintings, where tiny, thoughtfully-placed spots create larger, striking images.
Similarly, the Dots of Gold collection makes it easy to build a cohesive look. Every piece can be mixed, matched and layered, making this harmonious collection effortless to wear and style.
The real beauty of the Dots of Gold collection is that the delicate circles are universally flattering and the textured gold suits every skin tone. A piece from this collection would make a failsafe gift and a welcome addition to any jewellery collection.
